Sunday School Ministry

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

Led by Sunday School coordinator team Wendy Langerak, our team of blue-card accredited teachers seek to help our children to learn about the Lord’s grace to them in stories, songs and activities appropriate for those three to nine years old.

Our Sunday School begins part-way through the Sunday morning worship service.

Youth Ministries

GEMS (Girls Everywhere Meeting the Saviour) is the Christian Reformed Church program for girls meeting fortnightly on a Friday evening during the school term. Speak to Counsellor Kerry van den Bosch if you would like further details.

Cadets is the Christian Reformed Church program for boys meeting fortnightly on a Friday evening during the school term. Speak to Counsellor Michael Rietveld if you would like further details.

Discipleship classes are offered on a Sunday after the morning worship service for our young people from Grade 7 onwards. They are intended to gain an integrated approach to developing a well rounded, mature Christian faith. Adult classes for Profession of Faith (Confirmation) and membership are arranged as required. Please speak to Pastor Andrew for further details.

Our Youthgroup for high school age students is combined with Christlife Presbyterian Church and meets on Friday nights at 7pm. We also meet up with other youth groups across South-East Queensland twice a term under the leadership of Andrew & Marsunet van der Velde.

Small Groups

Small groups are a way for us to meet regularly to study the Bible, pray for one another and build relationships with one another.

At present we have two groups operating:

  • Kevin & Machi Rietveld (Seniors – Tuesday mornings, fortnightly)
  • Pastor Andrew (Mens – Wednesday evenings, fortnightly)

Please speak to any of the leaders if you are interested in joining in.

Craft Morning

Our fortnightly Friday craft group for women from the Glenvale community and beyond, commencing at 9:30am and concluding around lunchtime.

A wide variety of crafts are taught and instruction is offered to beginners.  Cost of materials is $6 per session and visitors are welcome!

Please speak to Letty de Kroon for more information.
